February Birthstone. Amethyst Ring made to order in your size. 5mm natural, dark purple gem quality amethyst from Uruguay. Ring band is 2mm wide solid sterling silver. The finished ring is bright polished inside and out for a smooth, comfortable feel on the finger. Can be stacked with any of our other rings. Made in Saint George, Utah, USA.
Our Process:
The finished cabochon is measured and a setting is built for it. A bezel of fine silver is soldered to a back plate of sterling silver and the bezel cup is shaped and trimmed. A sterling silver ring band is fabricated and soldered onto the back of the bezel cup. The fabricated setting is then polished by hand, going through 3 stages of sanding, 3 stages of pre-polish and then a final polishing on a soft buff and a fine jeweler's polishing cloth. Every surface of the setting is polished to a bright shine, including the back of the setting and the inside of the ring band, areas often neglected by other makers. The stone is then set into the finished setting by pushing the fine silver bezel over the edge of the stone to lock the stone in place. The bezel is then re-polished after the stone is set in place to remove any markings from the setting process.

The highest quality fine silver and sterling silver from environmentally sustainable sources in the United States of America. Rough stones are sourced from USA based sellers and are cut and polished in-house at our studio.
