Heavy Duty, High Dome Copper Ring Bands. Thick durable ring bands featuring a high arch dome. Made by Hand from 100% pure jewelry grade copper. These wide bands make an excellent alternative wedding/engagement band. Available with a bright polish or soft satin finish. Please make sure of your ring size before ordering. This is a custom made to order item. My Process: I take pure copper stock, cut to size, solder the ends together using jeweler's silver solder, then form the ring on a mandrel. Then I use a special set of tools to dome the ring and form the shape. Once the ring is formed, I carefully de-burr, pre-polish and mechanically work harden the ring for strength and durability. Finally I polish the ring according to the desired finish. Width: 7mm Thickness: 1mm Made from 100% recycled USA Copper. For sizes not listed, please contact us for price and ordering. Please Allow 1-2 weeks for custom orders. Coatings: We do not coat these with any kind of sealant or lacquer, so they will take on a dark patina over time. Polish as you would silver with a jeweler's polishing cloth or jewelry safe polishing compound. Care instructions: Store copper and brass jewelry in a small zip-lock bag to limit exposure to moisture and air when not being worn. Polish with a jewelry polishing cloth as needed to maintain the bright finish. Do not expose the metal to harsh chemicals such as ammonia, bleach and alcohol. Will it turn me green? The natural interaction between the salts and moisture in your skin and copper may cause the copper to oxidize and leave a surface coloration on your skin, the degree of which depends on your personal body chemistry and environment.
